Smithers Run Club - Backyard Ultra

Two 3.3 km loops. Every hour. On the hour. Until one runner remains.

The course unfolds over quiet hay fields, skirts a marsh and pond, and winds over rocky ridges brushed with junipers and framed by mountain ranges.

This isn’t just a test of endurance, it’s a gathering -- a celebration of running. First timers, quiet striders, weekend joggers, seasoned ultrarunners — all are welcome. Together, we remember why we run. Each hour, a decision. To continue. To stop. Maybe you’ll meet your limits. Maybe you’ll run past them.

The regrets? They're not for stopping. They're for never starting.
